Pinafore

I've been very busy this week with work experience, so I took the time to catch up with Eileen, the lovely Blog Dog (not forgetting Eva, the other blog dog, of course!)

As you can see, she's got wwwaaayyyy too big for me to pick her up anymore, but I did my best!

She is just TOO CUTE, don't you think? I have of course been spending quality time with Eva too, but she hurt her paw recently so she couldn't go outside! :(

But she's much better now, so the next set of pictures may well have to include her...

I haven't worn this outfit in a while, I must endeavour to wear both this hat and this pinafore more often, because I just love them!

Much Love Monday: Long Hair

Oh, I have missed doing Much Love Monday posts!

I am currently trying to grow out my hair for the summer, but I keep seeing girls with adorable pixie cuts, and getting the urge to cut all my hair off again. Much as I loved my short hair, it was just not versatile enough. Anyway, last night I had a dream that I tried to cut my own hair, and it turned out really badly. So I have compiled a collection of photos I can look at whenever I feel tempted to reach for the scissors...

As I've said many times, my favourite pictures of Brigitte Bardot are these ones from Cannes when she was about 19 years old, before she bleached her hair. I just love how naturally beautiful and carefree she looks! They are my favourite hair inspiration pictures, especially now that my hair is darker blonde.

Braided

Look, I dyed my hair! As much as I loved the blonde, I decided that it would be much easier to maintain at uni next year (I just got a place studying Fashion Design starting in October this year!) if it were closer to my natural colour.

And look, my favourite sunglasses have made their triumphant return for the first time this year! Deep down inside, I know they're totally uncool, but I love them regardless. They are fun.

This necklace was a present for getting into university, isn't it cute? As tiring as portfolio preparation was, and as sad as it made me to have to neglect my blog, I feel like the work has really paid off. And now I'll hopefully be able to relax for a bit!

I altered this polo shirt last night (I took it in at the waist to give it a more flattering and less school-uniform shape), but I've realised you can't see it in any of the pictures. I'll do another post where you can see it. I'm thinking of adding a tiny crochet trim, because I'm a little too soon out of school to be able to face wearing school uniform-esque clothing just yet...
